In this writing workshop video, I walk viewers through a step-by-step process of constructing FRQ 1from the 2022 AP Language & Composition Exam (STEM).

But the kicker – to ensure that the pesky line of reasoning stays intact, I model how to perform the Button Trick – the best way ever to teach a student how to stay cogent in their writing.
