Description
This writing workshop video sets your students up to do three things very well:
1. Practice crafting an introductory paragraph for literary analysis
2. Accurately ascertain a text’s meaning and the author’s intent
3. Crush the thesis point
For those of you who are familiar with my work, you know that I love to use short videos in my instructional practices.
Well, short films are a great way to practice hammerin’ the thesis point!
Lachlan Pendragon’s film “An Ostrich Told Me the World is Fake & I Believe It” is rife with possibilities.
In the video, I take my usual Bob Ross approach and “paint” a number of introductions while demonstrating how to pull the strings of my inverted thesis heuristic
