Description
Borrowing a page from Steven Crowder’s playbook, this argumentative-synthesis paper has students responding to the following signage: “Holy moly … ban cellphones in schools already!!”
I’ll be soap-boxing hard to begin the next academic year, so I’m starting with the bane of my existence: cell phone usage and synthesis.
To keep the compositional side of things bite size, I highlight and showcase my LEGO Man template in this writing workshop video.
In the video, I take my usual Bob Ross approach and “paint” a number of introductions and body paragraphs while demonstrating how to pull the strings of my templates all while cobbling together LEGO Man.
NOTE: Download only includes slides featured in the writing workshop video. Students locate their own sources for this assignment.
