Nick Hornby “Thunder Road” Rhetorical Analysis + Personal Narrative Writing Workshop

In this writing workshop video, we’ll tackle a rhetorical analysis of Nick Hornby’s “Thunder Road.”

Per usual, I “Bob Ross” my instruction while “painting” several intros. and bodies all while pulling the strings of my template. In this manner, the essay writing process should be demystified for teacher and student.

I also model how to write a personal narrative song reflection in the manner of Hornby toward the tail end of the video featuring one of my favorite songs – “Something’s Always Wrong” by Toad the Wet Sprocket.
